Everyone needs encouragement. May I encourage you today? There are so many of you who are walking through tough times right now. I have no idea what they are, but God does.

Encouragement

Remember the childhood song, “Jesus Loves Me?” Sing that to yourself for a minute.

“For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak, but you are strong; this we also pray for, that you be made complete.”  ~ 2 Corinthians 13:9

The Greek word used for “complete” in this verse is katartizo which means to complete thoroughly, in the sense of repair or adjust or restore. God wants to restore you. He wants to adjust our lives so they are on the straight and narrow road leading to Himself. He wants to repair you and use you to reach others.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”  ~ Ephesians 2:10

“Workmanship” is the Greek word, poiema, which means poem or masterpiece. You are God’s poem. And He writes a new stanza each day through your good works.

You are important.

God has a plan for you.

Encourage someone else…

…and work with God to write the poem of your life.
