It’s here! An honest movie about motherhood. Are you ready for a Moms’ Night Out?

Mom's Night Out

I am a mommy blogger. I have 3 kids. I have a magnificent husband. I am so blessed!!

So why do I feel so miserable at times?

I have never sat through a movie before and seen myself plastered all over the screen. I laughed. I cried. I looked at my wonderful mom friends who came with me as we laughed and nodded through the antics of the kids, dads, and moms.

Moms' Night Out

My wonderful “MOM” friends and me!

I don’t really want to tell you anything about this movie because I don’t want to ruin it for you.

YOU JUST MUST GO AND SEE IT!!

The cast is great. The acting is good. And this movie needs a great showing this weekend so Hollywood will get the message that quality movies are what families are searching for.

One of the messages the movie proclaims is that motherhood is hard and Mom, you’re doing just fine.

Keep being you. You are enough.

I so needed to hear the Truths in this movie. Not only have I seen the movie twice now, I plan on buying my own copy of it when it comes out. I know I will need the reminders, and the laughs, that this movie brings.

Isn’t that what we are aiming for with our children? Memories, reminders of wonderful days, and laughs and joy?

Because it is the laughs that help us through the tears. And it’s the reminders of God’s Truth that sustains us Moms during the daily grind of family life.

When I returned home from seeing Moms’ Night Out, I found this on my bathroom counter: {Can you see the message?}

I had to smile, cry a little bit, allow my heart to be touched….

…and go kiss a little boy who thinks I’m enough for him.

Find a theater near you and go this weekend. Take some tissue. You won’t regret it!!
