How would you like to teach engaging Bible lessons kids can’t resist?

How would you like to create a fun teaching atmosphere that sparks the imagination of children?

How would you like to teach Biblical truth to children that enhances their spiritual growth?

How would you like to receive resources that will help you to share the gospel and expand the Kingdom?

My Background:

I have a graduate degree in education with a focus on developing curriculum and instruction. My life journey includes over 30 years (so far!) in Children’s Ministry: Sunday School, puppetry, Vacation Bible School, Children’s Church, and various outreach ministries. Now I get to teach and train Bible Teachers all over the world. God is so good!

I am the author of four books. You can find themΒ HERE.

What can you expect from me when you subscribe?

Why the name FutureFlyingSaucers?

My husband and I keep a notebook of funny things my kids have said over the years. When I was searching for a name, my husband recommended that I look through that book.

One morning my 4 year old son came to me and proudly announced, “Hey Mama! I’m gonna be a flying saucer when I grow up!

I read that, laughed, and then thought about Isaiah 40:31 and how those who trust in the Lord will soar on the wings of eagles.

Isn’t that what we want for our children? We desire for them to trust the Lord through faith, and then soar with Him as they walk in His ways.

But this takes time.

Walking in the ways of God, sanctification…it’s a process.

And we’re always looking to the future and hoping in Jesus’ return.

And so, Future…Flying…Saucers was born. This site is for parents and church leaders who teach the Bible to children. Who, in their imaginations, might want to be flying saucers (instead of on wings of eagles) and soar with Jesus as they grow and serve Him in the future.

All of the resources on this site are created to help our kids soar.

    1. Yea for the south!! I am honored that you stopped by. I’m just getting started into this “blogging” thing. I’m enjoying it so far. Many blessings to you!

  1. I look forward to following your blog! I love your “about me” introduction. It’s so nice when I meet “real” moms who are humble and honest like yourself! God bless you, friend! πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I am always happy to see new faces πŸ˜‰

Your blog is wonderful and unlike any I’ve seen before. I homeschooled our kids for a couple of years; very memorable years that I wouldn’t trade for anything! Tough, but rewarding! Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing your family’s journey with us! I’m just starting into the homeschool journey with my 3- and 1-year-olds. As a homeschool graduate myself, I’m so encouraged by hearing other family’s stories.

  6. I am a homeschool mom who loves to serve in Awana as well as children ministry at church. It is so refreshing to have solid material to encourage the spiritual growth or each child that receives your messages. I’ve used so many and I have to admit that the children are captivated with each one. The Superhero message was so powerful and the dialogue that it provoked left parents inquiring about how they can reach their own children. So thank you for your faithfulness to God’s Word and not deviating from truth. May the Lord continue using this ministry to stir up the hearts of His people.

THANK YOU so much for your words of encouragement!! Honestly, I have been battling some technical difficulties with my blog resources and I’ve been so frustrated. Once again the Lord provides encouragement when it is needed. Thank you, friend. πŸ™‚

Hi – I am excited to find your website through Pinterest and to have just signed up for your newsletter via email. The freebie about the 7 things that God hates is going to be my very next lesson for my 3rd-5th graders. I have been a pastor’s wife for about 10 years now but haven’t felt the Lord calling me to teach a children’s class until recently, and to be honest, I don’t feel very confident in teaching yet even though I know I can do it with His help. I’m constantly looking for “helps” and I’m truly blessed to have found you! Thank you for your blog, and may God continue to bless your work!

  8. What resources are available for a small church, that does not have funds available for Sunday school and they are looking for curriculum? I am speaking of a church of thirty people that don’t have access to a copy machine and can scarcely pay the light bill.

  9. I love the sample lesson. We are doing a Bible Study with our 6 year old daughter and your lesson includes some great activities to supplement with. Thank you so much!

  10. Thank you for your lesson on Acts 14. I wanted to read another Children’s Lesson before class, and this is great. God bless you and your family.
