I never thought of myself as an angry person. Sure, I would get angry every now and then, but it wasn’t until I had KIDS that I realized I had an anger issue.
I’m not always angry. But when I get stressed, overwhelmed, distracted, irritated, or tired I am more likely to raise my voice in a manner that is not pleasing to the Lord.
I hope I’m not alone. Are you an angry parent at times?
I wanted to let you know about a Book Club that will be starting in April. We’ll be reading Pitchin’ A Fit!: Overcoming Angry and Stressed-Out Parenting by Israel Wayne.
Here is the schedule for reading:
The book is just 159 pages, so this shouldn’t stress your schedule too much, and at one chapter a week, you’ll have lots of time for prayer, meditation, and Bible memory (there are lots of Bible passages in each chapter). Order a copy of the book and join us at the Family Discipleship group over on Facebook today!
Please don’t forget to invite your friends. You never know who is wrestling anger silently in their own home or heart.
You can order your copy of Pitchin’ A Fit HERE.
