My son asked me, “How do I mail a letter to Jesus? I made him this and wanted to give it to him.”

This touched my heart. 🙂 And opened the door to a great lesson. Teaching theology to kids doesn’t have to be hard.

I explained to him that we can’t send Jesus anything in the mail because he doesn’t have an address like we do.

“Where is Jesus?”

“Up there,” RB stated as he pointed up to the sky.

I continued on by telling him that it is true that Jesus sits at the right hand of the throne of God. But Jesus is also God, which means he is everywhere all the time. He watches us, guides us, and sees us as we are living life.

“RB, do you think Jesus can see your picture right now?”

“Yes!”

“Why don’t you go put it on the refrigerator. That can be Jesus’ mailbox.”

And he did.

As you can see, RB drew Noah and the ark for Jesus.

  1. This is absolutely precious! How amazing it is to have a child that is eager to speak with God! I love the idea of the refrigerator being Jesus’ mailbox.

    Have a blessed Easter! 🙂
